Paska baking - March 21, 2026

Thanks to all who helped bake Paska bread on Saturday, March 21st! The decorating crew outdid themselves this year, and we made over 50 Paska or Babka bread. Paskas were shipped to those who are away, and the others will be handed out on Pascha.

All three have paused their work and are looking at the camera and smiling.

A man and two women are standing in the hall kitchen, visible through two open windows between the main part of the hall and the kitchen, and they're smiling towards the camera. The man is shown through the left window, and there are two large, metal bowls on the counter between him and the window frame. The crew of eight poses around the dough machine that rolls out dough balls into sheets of dough. Three women and two men are standing on the far side of the machine, and the three women in front of the machine are braiding long strips of dough.

Five baked paska breads on cooling on metal racks on the kitchen counter. Three are completely visible, and the loave in the lower left is mostly visible. A small edge of the fifth paska bread is visible in the middle of the right-hand edge of the frame.
