Pentecost - June 8, 2025

We began the Dormition Fast on August 1st with the Lesser Blessing of the Waters, the Moleben to the Theotokos, and blessing of honey. The Moleben was served every day of the Dormition Fast (until August. 14) at 9am (unless there was another service in the morning).

Fr. Aleksey is standing on the bottom (of three) steps leading to the Royal Doors. His left shoulder is towards the Royal Doors, and with his right hand, he is dipping a holy water brush (aspergillum) into a gold vessel containing holy in preparation to for blessing the chuch and parishioners. He's wearing a black cassock with a light blue stole (epitrakhilion) and standing on red carpet. The Sanctuary drapes and cloth on the center table are similarly blue like his stole.
