St. Michael's and Veterans Day - November 8, 2019

On November 8th, we celebrated St. Michael’s Day and Veterans Day. His Eminence Archbishop Mark and Father Ignatius Hunter were joined by area clergy to celebrate the Liturgy. The Miracle Icon of St. Anna was also displayed in the church during the celebration.

Father Ignatius awarded the Diocesan Purple Skufia

As part of the Michael’s Day and Veterans Day celebration, Father Ignatius was awarded the Diocesan Purple Skufia for his service. Archbishop Mark, Fr. Timothy Hojnicki, Fr. Stephen Vernak, Fr. Daniel Ressetar, Fr. Daniel Kovalak, Fr. John Onofrey, Fr. Daniel Armstrong, and Subdeacon Jacob Ponomarenko participated in the service.

St. Michael's and Veteran's Day lunch

Following Divine Liturgy, lunch was provided and open to the community in honor of Veterans Day. The parish also recognized Veterans as part of the celebration.
